Specialty Certificate Workshops NETA specialty certificate workshops provide the knowledge and training necessary to expand your fitness education into more specialized areas. These workshops include lecture, practical training, and an optional 50 point exam. All participants will receive CEC's to maintain your primary certification. NEW! VINYASA YOGA Participants
learn to teach sequences of flowing movement, linking one pose to the next in
coordination with the breath. Vinyasa yoga blends strength and flexibility training,
emphasizing power, precision, timing, grace, and coordination. Vinyasa is a great
teaching tool for both group fitness instructors and yoga instructors. ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS Learn about
specific issues that aging participants may encounter, including medical considerations,
orthopedic concerns, and the normal effects of aging and how these issues relate
to exercise and health. CYCLE SMART Motivational and educational.
Learn safe effective techniques to teach a variety of populations. These techniques
include: bike set-up, equipment repairs, safe body positioning and alignment,
and coaching the class. Lesson plans provided for beginner workout. KICKBOXING NETA's Kickboxing Certification
will train you to execute, choreograph, and perform typical kickboxing moves safely
and effectively. Experience the fitness craze for yourself and for your students.
Get certified with NETA! STABILITY BALL Incorporate the
use of a stability ball into exercise programming for one-on-one clients or group
exercise participants. Use stretching, strengthening, balance and coordination
activities on the ball to provide your clients with a challenging full body workout.
